Issue Summary
Project search field duplicates entered multibyte text on Chrome.
Also, when users type in Japanese kana and convert them to kanji(Chinese characters) or other form of Japanese, it triggers search with entered texts, preventing users to enter more texts.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enter multibyte text in project search field such as "てすと"
- select language conversion "テスト" and enter
- Verify the entered text will be duplicated as "テストテスト"

Expected Results
Entered text remains as is.
Actual Results
Entered text is duplicated and search with "duplicated word".
Workaround
If user uses Firefox or any non-Chronium based browser, it works well.
or
If user presses Cmd (Ctrl) + Enter instead of just Enter when they confirm the conversion.
