Description
Issue Summary
Released/Unreleased split is missing for Fix Versions and Affected Versions on the Create or Edit Issue Screen in versions 9.2.0 onwards
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)
Steps to Reproduce
- Click on Create or Edit Issue Option
- Click on dropdown against fix versions or affected versions
Expected Results
Released unreleased split is present
Actual Results
Released unreleased split is not present
Workaround
Option 1: Use the field on 'View screen' (i.e. the title one), it still shows the split between released and unreleased versions as expected
Example:
Option 2: Transition screen with the version field can be added to the associated workflow
- To do this, you need to create a screen containing the versions field. Navigate to Jira Administration > Issues > Screens and create a Screen. Add Affects Version/s and/or Fix Version/s field to this screen.
- Navigate to the project's Workflow, click edit, then click Add transition. Configure the transition to be from Any status going to Itself, then choose the screen created from the previous step.
- This way, when users need to update the version, they can choose the transition to be able to see the split versions between released and unreleased in the transition screen.
