User picker (multi user) user filtering feature

      User picker(single user) works perfect with 'User Filtering' feature introduced in JIRA 6.3 but why it affects only single user picker ?

      Could you extend 'User Filtering' feature for multi user picker ?

            This seems to be a duplicate of JRASERVER-36833. That issue has more voters/watchers. I'd recommend this issue get closed as a duplicate and everyone vote/watch that one instead.

            +1 Don't understand why this is only implemented for the single user picker field type.

            We have implemented such a field as a workaround for an issue security scheme, as suggested by Atlassian here:

            But of course we need to limit the user base to the project role "Users" then, which is not possible currently.

            We already used Jira 7.5.2 but it does not have 'User Filtering' feature for multi user picker. Please add this feature
