Would like the facility to add new statuses

    Description

      Currently it isn't possible to add statuses. This would be ideal as we have a point in our workflow where a developer has addressed a bug and has passed it to a tester to test - i.e. a status of "Awaiting test". From here the tester would want to either resolve the issue as "Fixed" to re-assign it to the developer if it fails the test.

      This in my opinion is more elegant than adding a resolution of "Awaiting Test" as it isn't possible to further change that resolution without re-opening the issue first - i.e an extra couple of steps. Also "Awaiting Test" has more a part of the active workflow, than a resolution as far as I can see.
