      Problem

Currently, there does not seem to be anything that limits which Sprint an issue can be added into when done via List View or a workflow screen when Transitioning an issue to a new status. This can cause confusion as it could show Sprints from boards from a different project, or cause users to link the issue to the wrong Sprint due to Sprints having the same name.

      Suggested Solution

In Issue View, when selecting a sprint, by default a checkbox is selected that looks like this:

☑️ Only show sprints in this project

and by default only sprints from the current project are shown to users.

This feature should also appear on Sprint selection fields in other places - such as List View or on Transition screens

      Workaround

Since Sprint names are not unique in Jira, try starting Sprint names with a prefix of the Project so that it will be easier to distinguish them.
