Thank you for raising and voting on this suggestion. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping and enhancing Jira for all users. Given the high volume of feature suggestions for Jira, we must prioritize those that provide the most value to the majority of our users. After a thorough review by the team, we have decided that we will not be able to implement this suggestion in the immediate future.

Product Manager-Issue View
Problem
On the new issue view, it's not possible to select Seconds, even if the Advanced settings and Look and feel have the correct settings to show such information.
On the old view, it was possible to edit such information, but due to issues and limitations on the new view, the date settings are not respected anymore.
Suggestion
Show the date time format added to the advanced settings/look and feel.
Advanced settings:
jira.date.time.picker.java.format - dd/MMM/yy h:mm a s
jira.date.time.picker.javascript.format - %e/%b/%y %I:%M %p %S
Look and feel:
Complete Date/Time Format - dd/MMM/yy h:mm a s
