[JIRAALIGN-870] Work Item Export: Export File Corrupt

XMLWordPrintable

    • 8
    • Severity 2 - Major
    • No

      Issue Summary

Due to the number of items included in the export, when a user attempts to export a set of Epics/Stories/Features the completed file can be corrupt because of a timeout.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Export Epics/Stories/Features from their grid
      2. Download file and open

      Expected Results

File shows the list of exported work items.
The issue typically occurs when we hit the timeout threshold, in which case, the file should not be passed onto the end-user. In case of failure, a better way may be to indicate that the request timed out rather than producing a corrupt file.

      Actual Results

      Workaround

Apply context menu or page level filters to reduce the number of work items that are included in the export.
