    Description

      Summary

When you drag and drop an existing image using IE, Confluence will upload a new copy of that image to the page (with a different name)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Using IE, Open a page in Confluence that you have edit rights on
      2. Drag and Drop an existing image in that page
      3. Open the attachments tab

      Environment

      IE 10 and 11

      Expected Results

All attachments should still be the same

      Actual Result

A new attachment is added to the list with a different name
Ironically, this attachment file size is larger than the original one

      Workaround

This behaviour is only seen in IE 10 and 11.
As a workaround use other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox
