Members of confluence-administrators cannot edit page restrictions on restricted pages

      Steps to reproduce

      1. In addition to the existing superuser, create a second "normal" user.
      2. Log in as the normal user
      3. Create a new page, click Restrictions --> Edit and select Restrict viewing of this page to Me.
      4. Save the new page.
      5. Then log in as the administrator.
      6. As administrator, the new page can be viewed, its content and the Edit button.
      7. Click Tool --> Restriction but nothing happens. (see screenshot: 35x.png)
      8. Click Edit, then a page with the title "Not Permitted" appears.
      9. The page is even visible in the page tree (see screenshot: tree.png)

For Confluence 3.4.x, the Edit button and the page in page tree are not visible, and the Tool does not show anything (see screenshot: 34x.png)

            Just for searchability:
The response for pages/getpagepermissions.action call is:

You are not permitted to perform this operation.

This is also fixed in Confluence 3.5.12 as part of the work on CONF-19124.

            Any movement on this guys?
The only workaround available is to remove all of the existing restrictions on the page, and then recreate them all one-by-one.
            It's a major PITA.

Attaching screengrab of javascript error seen when clicking padlock icon in Confluence 3.5.7 where I'm logged in as a user with admin rights, but no explicit view or edit rights on the restricted page in question

We're seeing this one with 3.5.7.
Nothing appears in the logs, but I do get the attached Javascript error in the Chrome Javascript console.

I've seen this one before. The JavaScript call to retrieve the page permissions fails with "Operation not permitted".
