Hello everyone,
I am Nidhi, a Product Manager in the Confluence Cloud team. We just released the ability to share a view-only version of Confluence pages using a public links. Pages shared using public links will not display the page tree (sidebar referred to in this ticket). This is one way to share content with anonymous users. We hope this addresses a few use cases: Introducing Public Links: External sharing made easy and secure!

Currently there's no way to hide sidebar from anonymous users and JIRA Service Desk customer.
Suggested Solution
Provide an option to hide sidebar from anonymous users and JIRA Service Desk customer.
Workaround
- None. There used to be well-known workaround for this use case like answers below, however, after SPA is enabled, Confluence no longer supports style macro. See also
