Issue Summary
There is a UI inconsistency where guest users with View-only permissions see a tooltip indicating they have edit access when hovering over the Share button. This creates confusion as the user does not actually have the permissions to edit the page.
Steps to Reproduce
- Invite a guest user to a Confluence space and grant them View-only permission in Space Settings.
- Log in as the guest user and navigate to a page which is set to "Open" (Anyone in this space can edit).
- Hover the mouse over the Share button in the top-right corner.
Expected Results
The tooltip should accurately reflect the guest user's actual permissions, or the Share button should be disabled (greyed out) to prevent confusion. It should not suggest that "anyone" (including the guest) can edit.
Actual Results
- The tooltip displays: "Open - anyone in this space can edit".
- When the guest user clicks the button, an error message appears: "Access info failed to load"
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
