Issue Summary
The assign issue action doesn't automatically assign an issue to the designated assignee.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an agent and add the action 'Assign Issue' to it.
- Open a Jira issue and chat with the agent to assign this case to someone.
Expected Results
Rovo issue assigned this case to the person specified.
Actual Results
Rovo agent gives the message Assigning issue to "<username>"
Please confirm to perform.
This can be particularly problematic if the Rovo agent is embedded in a Jira automation where it is expected to assign the cases to users.
Workaround
You will need to explicitly click on confirm to assign the case.
In Jira automation, please add another component "Assign issue" to get the issue assigned.
