As a user I would like to be able to automatically elevate the priority of an alert when a certain deduplication count is reached

      User Problem

      In some configurations, the number of received duplicated alerts corresponds to the severity of the root issue - it would be nice to be able to increase the alert's priority based on the number of duplicate alerts.

      Current Workarounds

      One option would be to use an external service to query our Alert API for open alerts with a count of X, and then automate increasing the priority with our Update Alert Priority endpoint.

            Further to this, raising priority just based on de duplication would not be enough for my use case.

            In my scenario I would have the following alarms going off

            Time 0 : Problem -> High load

            Time 0+5 : Ok -> High load

            Time 0+22 : Problem -> High load

            Time 0+24: Ok -> High load

            Time 0+45: Problem -> High load

            ie an alarm that is flapping. In this case I would like to be able to write a rule that made the alert created by the 3rd problem to have a higher priority than the first two
