Summary
When attempting to create a new board or update a saved filter in the existing board, the user may be unable to retrieve the shared filter depending upon where it is returned in the search results.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create the following saved filters:
Cash Management - A Cash Management - B Cash Management - C Cash Management - D Cash Management - E Cash Management - F Cash Management - G Cash Management - H Cash Management - I Cash Management - J Cash Management - K Cash Management - L Cash Management - M Cash Management - N Cash Management - O Cash Management - P Cash Management - Q Cash Management - R Cash Management - S Cash Management - T Cash Management - U Cash Management - V Cash Management - W Cash Management - X Cash Management - Y Cash Management - Z Man ABC Man Man Man_Man
- Create a new JIRA Agile board from an existing Saved Filter.
- Attempt to enter "Man Man" or "Man_Man".
Expected Results
The filters are returned.
Actual Results
The filters are not returned.
Notes
It appears that there is a limitation in the number of results that the drop-down can return (it appears to be 20 is the limitation), and if the filter is returned after those results it does not appear. If all the 'Cash Management' filters do not exist, 'Man_Man' and 'Man Man' will appear.
Workaround
Rename the filter something else temporarily, such as A Man ABC, and then use that as it will appear at the top of the list.
