Since many integrations are listening to the default Jira events: Created, Updated, Resolved, etc when you change it by a custom user event the Jira automation rules stop being triggered.
- Create a custom event.
- Edit the create transition, set the custom event.
- Create one rule automation with Create issue as the trigger
The rule should be executed.
The rule is not executed.
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior.
