Issue Summary
Jira users without having access to Projects get an "It seems board doesn't have an assigned location. You can ask your board administrator to assign it to a project or user" error when attempting to browse to project board.
--------
A similar error message occurs if users don't have product access while trying to access the project board. Also, if a user with no product access tries to select the board from the board selector, an error message occurs with the message "We're having troubles connecting to your boards."
Steps to Reproduce
- Log in as a user who doesn't have access to the board of a particular project.
- Try accessing a board link.
Expected Results
Users should be presented with a more meaningful error advising they don't have access to the project where the board resides.
Actual Results
"It seems the board doesn't have an assigned location. You can ask your board administrator to assign it to a project or user" message will be displayed instead.
Workaround
No workaround at the moment.
