    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

One of the advantages of Kanban is to make your process visual and explicit. One part of it is to add your "Definition of done" at the bottom of every column. This is a short description of the conditions under which this step of the process can be considered complete. See an example here: http://technitai.wordpress.com/tag/game-design/

The idea would be to let board managers add a short check list of those steps that would be displayed at the bottom of each column.

In my company we use this app https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228109/recurring-checklists-and-report?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

The best in it is that I can create recurring tasks with checklist with predefined fields like sprint, etc.

Please just implement this. You need to respond to change and provide basic features like this if you want to continue to be used by teams using digital tools to manage their workflow. There are many other fantastic tools out there, it is only a matter of time before they disrupt the market so much that it will be felt by Atlassian.

This feature will be a really valuable tool for conversations in our teams - now that working remotely is a permanent thing. Being able to look at the digital board and have people across the world hold each other accountable for tasks moving through the boards would be a big win!

One of the intended benefits of Kanban is "better visibility". This issue doesn't seem visible to anyone at Atlassian. 🤣

I completely agree. Although I do feel it would be preferred to have DoD / DoR at the top of each column, rather than at the bottom.

yes , if we are using Kanban Board , Jira should have capability to define policies for each column.

as i understood Jira had no such feature . it is disappointing.
