Issue Summary
Insight CSV import ignore text surrounded by <> characters when target attribute is of type TextArea
Steps to Reproduce
- Setup a CSV import in an Insight schema.
- In one attribute value in the source csv insert some text surrounded by <> characters. Ex. this is <a test> for attribute text area.
- In the object type mapping of the CSV import map the above attribute to a TextArea attribute.
- Launch the sync and observe that the text inside <> has not been imported:
Please note that this only happen in the 0$ version of Insight (previous and latest 8.7.12).
In the Insight bundled version with JSM (ex. latest 9.0.12) the text is successfully imported:
This happen with both , and ; delimiters.
Expected Results
text within <> should be imported together with <>.
Actual Results
text surrounded by <> is just ignored (and <> chars too).
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior apart from purging the source file from <> characters.
