Problem Definition
Currently when an email request is failed to be processed by email channel the only way is to check the processing log or JIRA incoming log.
Suggested Solution
Implement a feature in JIRA service desk whereby every email request that is failed to proceed should trigger a failure notification to the project admin
Why this is important
This will help the project admin to have a better overview of the email that was failed to proceed at their end. This will simply the admin task whereby they would not need to check logs or wait until a customer report to them when an email is not processed.

This is required by our Service Desk teams as well because they aren't Jira admins and thus aren't allowed to view the logs from within Jira. Another possibility would be to schedule an automatic export of the related mail audit logs (see
JSDSERVER-1823).
