As an admin I want to be able to disable the invitation e-mails from Service Desk

      Problem Definition

      Admins would like to prevent the following customer invitation e-mails going out when adding customers to an organization in Service Desk:

      Hi,

      <User> has invited you to the <Service Desk Project> portal!
      Visit the portal to raise requests and get help.

      Suggested Solution

      Add the 'Service Desk invitation' notification to the Customer notifications that admins can edit/disable.

      Why this is important

      Some admins like to populate organizations ahead of time and don't necessarily want those e-mail notifications going out.

            It seems odd this message isn't customisable, is there a way to change the text that gets sent out? Ideally on a per service desk basis!

            Would also add that where JIRA is connected to an Active Directory (or other LDAP) service, the link to reset passwords is moot and therefore should not be included (or made optional?)

            I have the same issue - reported it to JIRA 3 times with no reply- really need the ability to disable automated invitations to join the portal to our customers since we mostly manage Service Desk via e-mail- very frustrating.  Pursing smtp outgoing rule but would like it if JIRA enables this within the application (JIRA Service Desk cloud for us)
