[JSDSERVER-4189] Dashboard doesn't load when SD is being restarted

Kieth - We were seeing the Dashboard doesn't load when SD is being restarted error in Jira Data Center as well. The error in the logs was: "Job runner key 'jira-migration-access-log-processing-job-key' is not registered"

Our solution was to turn off the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant app in the Administration --> Manage apps tab.

We found the error for the jira-migration Services under System Administration:

            1. Go to Admin --> System
            2. Select the Scheduler details tab on the left pane
            3. Under Scheduler Administration, search for jira-migration

The errors for our services that were failing looked like the following:

After we disabled the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant app, we stopped seeing this error in the logs (even though the service continues to run as scheduled) and we also stopped seeing the emails with the error message:

            Hope this helps.

This caused one of our nodes in Data Center to almost crash this morning.
In our review of all nodes this is a recurring issue.

No movement, no workaround, no assignee, no real changes in several years ....

What information will be helpful for the troubleshooting?

Is error also exists in Jira Software 7.13.0, on a clean postgreSQL-db, when clicking "import from other", "cancel", "cog-symbol" ... "restore" (from last backup.zip from 7.13.0).

Hi Bartosz, this would be the latest JSD available ie 3.16. We're working on deploying Jira and JSD to Azure. We deploy JSD onto a cluster with preloaded Trial licence, supplied Admin credentials, configure DB etc and when accessed for the first time, the user gets the Welcome screen, creates sample project, gets the 502 Server Error page. Reloading the page and then reindexing the user sees the created project so is not a blocker but ugly. Running the Log Analyzer gave me a link to this page.

smontgomery in what version of JSD have you encountered this issue?

This also happens when you startup JSD for the first time and create a sample project from the Welcome screen. I wouldn't imagine this is a good first impression for the customer...

            Hi yusuf.azal1488249695,

SD is an abbreviation for Service Desk.

Answers is a good place to ask this question, as you have. Another way of getting help is to contact your system administrator in your company or, if that's you, contacting Atlassian Support at support.atlassian.com

            Regards,
            Eric
