      Customer Portal date custom field is not filled in with the default value. The default value is set to be the current date. Today's date is populated when the issue is accessed from the normal create issue flow

            Thanks for taking the time to raise this issue. We have noticed that it is now more than 6 months old and has had little activity from the community, so I'm going to close it.
