    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We need to be able to hide the permissions warning from all but the Administrators of a Service Desk project.

This is because our service desk agents should not be concerned at all with how it's setup. They'll know they're notto log time against a ticket if the option is not there. Additionally, it is perfectly valid to disable a customer/agent the ability to diable certain functions.

Obviously, it is nice to have this notice for incorrect permissions configuration, but ultimately, if the Administrator makes the change knowingly, why should the agents see the notice in the first place?

Only Jira Admin should see this message, we need to hide this for project admins or at least have an option to toggle between show/hide this from Project admins.

Agents shouldn't see any permission level errors, administrators also need option to ignore or dismiss.

To me, if a service desk agent sees that message, they freak out a bit (cause its red and a popup). To them, this is the end of the world, not something you can just ignore. Please fix this?

I agree, if you change permissions you do it for a reason as an admin. If a warning is sent out it should be sent to the admins only.

I'm thinking this might be more of a bug than not.

Our service desk team is also seeing this error – even though it's not related to their role, nor would they have permissions to change the permissions.
