Summary:
There will be a lot of break/new lines betweens statement if the source email is using HTML format when trying to create an issue from email.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a dummy service desk project.
- Set the Email Request (Tested using Gmail)
- Compose a new Email with new/break line for each word using Outlook and set the format to HTML
- Send the email to the Email Request email address.
Expected Result:
- The description will be rendered as how the email is composed.
Actual Result:
- There will be additional new/break line between the lines.
Workaround:
Use the Plain Text format when sending out email to JIRA Service Desk using Outlook.
Notes:
- Tested using Outlook Client and Gmail
- Sending using Rich Text Format is reported to ignore the Break line but, this is not verified yet.
