See JSD-1597 where this problem was fixed for issue keys mentioned in comments.
The same problem still exists for issue keys mentioned in descriptions.
Steps to reproduce
1. Login to one of the Customer Portals and create two requests.
2. Login as an Agent and view one of the issues from JIRA side.
3. Edit the description and mention the other issue key.
4. Log out and login back again as the Customer.
5. Click on the mentioned issue.
Expected Result:
The customer is redirected to the portal view of the other issue.
Actual Result:
Because the issue links to the JIRA view, the customer cannot access it and he is returned to the Service Desk portals page.
Test ran on 4.12(latest): Note: This problem still exist for both comments and description.

Just tested and as of 5.4.15 this still happens. Any chance for this to be fixed?
