Description
Hi - I'm experiencing behavior in my customer portal that if a client submits a directory/file path or a url with the phrase "/images/" in it, it gets rewritten to /servicedesk/customershim/images in the portal. This doesn't happen to the JIRA Browse view of the issue, only the portal issue.
Is there some way to suppress this issue? We use our desk as tech support, and the ability to type real paths is relevant. Our users tend to not understand or know how to use wiki markup, so I'd like some ability to turn this behavior off on my end.
Workaround
For external URLs create a TinyURL at http://tinyurl.com and use that for the link/image/URL instead.
For example, for the image http://www.dcrainmaker.com/images/2012/08/the-nuremberg-runaround-flock-of-sheep-edition.jpg
Created a TinyURL, http://tinyurl.com/q7bprar
Now it can be used in all the normal ways:
http://tinyurl.com/q7bprar {{http://tinyurl.com/q7bprar}} !http://tinyurl.com/q7bprar!
Result: screenshot
