    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Current Behaviour

When our customers ask for way to access directly Service Desk, we tell them to provide the Service Desk URL. If the customer logs out at this point (when accessing the Service Desk URL) and then tries to login again, he is redirected to the common login page in JIRA.

      Expected Behaviour

Create a whole set of screens and access panels specifically for Service Desk, so the customer that access Service Desk has restricted access only to the Service Desk add-on as expected. This includes login and logout all inside Service Desk without never accessing/viewing JIRA itself.

      User case

      1. John is the customer of a company which uses Service Desk.
      2. John receives a link in his email to access the support panel of the company (Service Desk).
      3. John access this URL and he is at a Service Desk login page.
      4. John logs out and sees the Service Desk logout page, which directs him to login again in another Service Desk page.
