    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Description

If you take Browse Projects permission out from the permission scheme, you are not able to create JSD issues by email
Currently, with the JSD > 3.2 it's possible to hide all request types from customer portal, but JSD will still display an empty project on the portal as below:

      Suggestion

It would be nice if JSD could hide a specific JSD project from customer portal when there is no visible request type just letting the issues be managed only by email.

We also need a way to hide some JSD project for some user-groups who can only send mails to create issues
