Issue Summary

The Groups field in the agent's view gets automatically re-added on the screens from which it was previously removed.

This behavior was noticed when Jira is upgraded or when a new project is created with a shared configuration having screens which the field was previously removed from. However, there may be additional circumstances under which this problem occurs.

Steps to Reproduce

Scenario 1

1. Remove the Groups field from a screen.
2. Upgrade JSM.

Scenario 2 (Fixed https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-7291)

1. Remove the Groups field from a screen.
2. Create a new project with a shared configuration having screens which the field was previously removed from.

Expected Results

The Groups field is not present on the screen where it was previously removed from.

Actual Results

The Groups field gets automatically re-added on the screen where it was previously removed from.

Workaround

1. Navigate to <BASE_URL>/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa and add the dark feature sd.share.request.with.group.disabled. If you need more guidance on enabling dark features, refer to the KB here.
2. Perform the operations needed (create a new project with a shared configuration or upgrade Jira).
3. Navigate to <BASE_URL>/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa and remove the dark feature sd.share.request.with.group.disabled.

Note: You can also keep the dark feature enabled if you wish to disable the "Share requests with groups" feature entirely. For more details, please check the KB here.
