Problem
When the Customer Satisfaction questions is not modified (ie. How was our service for this request?), it will be sent in the Default Language of the application regardless of the users profile or default project language.
Environment
Tested in JSM 5.9.1, 5.11.1, 5.12.1
Steps to Reproduce
- Set application default language to any other language (Chinese in my test)
- Set the Service Project's default language to English
- Do not make any changes to the projects Customer Satisfaction question
- Set a customer's profile default language to English
- Trigger a Customer Satisfaction Survey email by resolving a request from this customer
Expected Results
- Customer receives the CSAT email and the question is in English
Actual Results
Workaround
No complete workaround. Partial workaround is below
- Make customization to the Customer Satisfaction question. When making a small change, the customers will receive this exact question in the email. It will not be translated to the customers profile language, but it will also not be automatically translated to the application default language as well
- Not a full workaround if you have customers using various different languages
Notes
- Similar to
JSDSERVER-5611 - The ratings are correctly translated to the customers profile language. Only the question isn't. Here is a screenshot when the customer profile language is set to Chinese as well
