Since the release of Jira 9.3.1 there is a info icon next to the name. The customer wants to be able to remove it as an option.

[JSDSERVER-12173] As Jira admin I would like to remove the "info" icon next to username
Great to hear about some traction on responding to all the feedback. 
Couple of questions
- Is there work happening to reduce the prevelance of
on regular Jira Software screens (e.g. issue listing) as well as JSM screens? - Will any of this get back ported to the 5.12/9.12 LTS versions?

We’re excited to let you know that we have removed the info icon next to the username in 'queue view' as part of our 5.13 release. You can read more about it here.
We are evaluating the removal of the info icon next to usernames from other places like 'issue view' and will share the details shortly.

I have 1000+ Users on my system, unfortunately NOONE understands the benefit of the current solution, we switched to Jira 9 yesterday and all colleagues ask the same question. "Why"...
Given it's scheduled for release in Q1 2024, I imagine it will be included in the next LTS version which should be out by then.

Will this feature be available for Jira Software as well?
Nice to see work on this but the release notes say
"Based on your feedback, we also removed the information icons next to Assignee, Reporter, and Creator fields in the queue view and replaced them with avatars. To view a user’s profile and their activity details, select their avatar."
This sounds like it got worse? Now we not only have an icon taking up space but an avatar image, that is potentially taking up more space, creates more visual clutter and might be harder to remove/change with CSS...?!
Also, the announcement does not mention the icon shown in a JSM filter gadget, which is where we are annoyed with the icon the most.
