Asset - upgrading Insight to v.8.10.13 (Rebranded to Assets) will expose Attributes

      Issue Summary

      This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)

      Insight v. 8.10.13 (not available on Affected version field)
      NOT tested with JSM 5.3.0

      The Insight cf has a configuration - "Object attributes on Issue View" - to select which Attributes will be visible on the objects in the Issue view.

      When upgrading to v.8.10.13 - including the Rebranding Insight to Asset, this configuration is disregarded and the Issue view show all the Objects' Attributes.

      However - it will not expose Hidden Attributes

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. On Insight v. <= 8.10.9 configure a CF to show only Label on the Issue view
      2. Create an Issue and populate the Insight CF - note only Name is visible on the Issue View.
      3. Upgrade Insight to Assets - v.8.10
      4. Refresh your Issue view

      Expected Results

      Insight Object in the CF is not changed

      Actual Results

      The Object/s in the CF is showing all Attributes (still follows the User's Role - so Hidden Attributes are NOT exposed!)

      Workaround

      Downgrade to Insight 8.10.9

      Additional observations:
      Even a newly created Asset CF - as soon as a single Attribute is indicated in "Object attributes on Issue View" (e.g. "Name") - the object will show fully on the Issue view

            Assets (rather Insight) is now not showing the drop down options on portal and takes forever to load , This is not an upgrade rather downgrade of the app itself issue is on Jira 8.10.x

            Customers are all complaining on this issue.

            I agree with Steve. This significantly impacts my coworkers effectiveness to work.

            Additonally this bug also rearranges our issue view.

            It even rearranges sidebars etc. which shouldnt be possible.
            (Updated by Michelle Chin from Atlassian. We've confirmed that the bug doesn't affect the issue layout, this is a different issue and it's caused by a third party plugin and not by Assets)

            +1 Getting this in JSM 5.3.0 with Assets 10.0.17, I would say this should be a little higher priority than minor
