Issue Summary
Issue in sending notification for Single User while using Respond to Customer option.
( This is after editing the Notification scheme to have the option as below)
Steps to Reproduce
- setup a new out-of-the-box service desk project.
- setup a notification for "Issue commented" to be sent to a Single User (add any test user here)
- create an issue
- comment (inline) and use the "Share with customer" option
- Result:
You can notice that A notification is sent to the Single User added earlier.
- However, If Use the "Respond to customer" button to open the dialog box and
- Add a comment in the comment field and click the button "Respond to customer" option
- The comment is added, but no notification is sent to the "Single User"
Expected Results
Comments that are added via the "Respond to customer" dialog must trigger the commented issue event
Actual Results
Comments are added but no notifications are sent
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior and it is required to use the "Share with customer" option to trigger the notification for "Single User"
