Issue Summary

Can't preview MP4 video in customer portal with Google Chrome, MS Edge, Safari

Steps to Reproduce

• Jira Service Management:
  • v4.17.0, v4.17.1
• Browser:
  • Google Chrome(Mac): Version 93.0.4577.82 (Official Build) (x86_64), Version 94.0.4606.61 (Official Build) (x86_64)
  • MS Edge(Mac): Version 94.0.992.31 (Official build) (x86_64)
  • Safari(Mac): Version 15.0 (16612.1.29.41.4, 16612)

Step 1. Attach/Upload MP4 video file in JSM customer portal
Step 2. When you click attachment file link in customer portal, you can't preview the MP4 video.

Note

Jira Service Management v4.13.7, v4.14.0 are not affected to this issue.

Expected Results

• You can preview MP4 video in JSM portal with Supported browsers

Actual Results

• You can't preview MP4 video in JSM portal with Google Chrome
• On the other hand, you can preview MP4 video in JSM portal with Firefox

Workaround

Use Firefox instead of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge(Chromium), Safari.
