I have integrated Jira Service Desk Cloud with OpsGenie as described at https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/jiraservicedesk-integration. This uses Jira's webhook function to create an OpsGenie alert when Jira issues that match certain criteria are created.
Currently when Jira creates an OpsGenie alert there is no indication on the Jira issue that the alert was created, what the alert id is, or a link to the alert. The Jira user has no way of knowing that there is a corresponding alert in OpsGenie. My product recommendation is to have the integration add a link to the OpsGenie alert, either as a link on the Jira issue or as a comment added with a URL link.
I originally opened this with OpsGenie support (OGSP-50350) but their support representative Nick indicated that this would be a feature for the Jira team and not the OpsGenie team.
