    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Problem Definition

When there is only a single request type available in the portal, customers would still require to click on the "What can we help you with?" to raise a ticket.

      Suggested Solution

Add the ability to show the request form directly

          Form Name

[JSDCLOUD-9106] Remove the "What can we help you with?" if there is only a single request type in the portal

It is a basic thing that should be available to us but yet not possible. Please fix this!

            Yes, please fix this.

It's very confusing for the user and just looks bad. Especially since we can't edit the text.

Same goes for not being able to use pictures inside a form, I am not thinking of as an attachment - I mean as a styling of the form, explanation etc.

If Im on the request page I dont need the "what can we help you with?" and a link to the issue type itself. This makes no sense if Im already on the page for the request.

If you add the link to the portal page under topics, you don't get the "what can we help you with" box. It should be simple to make this optional from a category.

Please can we edit or remove this text? Thanks!

Please build-in support so we can remove, change and translate the phrase on a project level.

This would be really helpful to support the usage of Jira Service Management for other reasons than for getting 'help'.

            Thx,

Please let it be possible to translate the phrase or as others advocate make it configurable to remove it. It seems obious to make use of the already buildin translating model. This will enable users of non-English configurations to have a better experience.

            Tx.

Yes. This is only one out of many bottlenecks this portal has. Please remove this and provide more options to customize the portal.

It would be great if we can change the text of "What can we help you with" and also the second one which is used for the request types.

Our customer uses the system with the German translation. In German, a distinction is made between the polite form of address ("Sie") and the more informal form of address ("du"). In the customer's company, it is part of the corporate culture that everyone uses the informal form of address. However, Jira translates the two texts with the polite form of address, unfortunately a change is not possible. Thus, the entire appearance of the service portal is unfortunately not very satisfactory.

So please give us the ability to change (or remove) both sentences.

Status  Gathering Interest. I hope this keeps growing because it's been too long without being able to change such a trivial part of the portal!

What Petr and Cyril already said:

The prompt text "What can we help you with?" should be configurable to be any free text or, if no text is entered at all, it should take up no vertical space.

Translations would be fantastic, but that would be necessary for all aspects of the help site, not just this one item.

Yes, and having the functionalitity to translate this would be a basic requirement I think.
