      Update

It is only possible to define the default language while creating the project. There are no plans to support changing the default language after the project has been created.

      Original Description

Jira Service Desk next-gen project currently does not allow changing the project default language.

Many customers based their project default language on the region they support hence would require different default languages for different projects.

[JSDCLOUD-8575] Ability to change the default language

            Hi,

I also think it is incongruent with the concept of "next Generation Project"  . How it is possible that next generation has lower features than previous one? We have the same problem in Spanish. But worst of everything is that when client receive messages they receive links in Spanish but message in English.

            A whole absurd situation.

As mentioned above, if we change from next generation to BEST GENERATION (Classic) what do we lost in features?

This is unacceptable to won't fix this important feature.

We pay enough for what you do and we won't remove and create another project with new language. It's not audible for us.

            Fix this ASAP !!!

The feature has fixed status here, but still unavailable and not working. I lost the logic.. Please re-open.

This is marked as Fixed. But I cannot change default language in my existing next gen project. When is this feature rolled out?
