      Need to have the ability to create Kanban board for Service Management Projects.

      Customer's requirement states that it would be easier to track the progress of tickets for customer if we have a board.

      We're pleased to let you know that Board view is now available. Board view will be turned on for all new projects. For existing projects, please go to Project Settings -> Features and toggle on the Board:

            Disappointed. We can't configure the filters in the board, neither the swimelanes.

            Also, would it be possible to show a read-only board view to our customers through the portal? This is something they are eager to see...

            Is it possible or planned to display the kanban board within the customer portal? A readonly view would be sufficient for the start.

            Does viewing the new board require a JSM license like JS boards, or can it be viewed by collaborators (e.g. engineering teams) with appropriate permissions as well?

            I don't see any mention of JSM boards in the JSM permissions documentation here or of permissions in the JSM boards documentation here.

            I noticed you mentioned multiple boards for a project. Is it possible to have a board for multiple projects, essentially an overview of all projects (that we add to the board in question) issues? If so can you let me know how to set that up?

            Availability

            Boards are now available to most sites as of 30 October, except for those on the Bundled Release Track (Boards will be turned for these sites next week).  Boards are available on all pricing tiers! db078f10c0cf 056d4901a4c9 5f9cd2c163cf e970707ca68a - please let me know if it isn't available for you by 16 November.

            More features and consistency with Jira Software

            The Board in Jira Service Management is built off the same Board as in Jira Software, meaning we're able to share new features and improvements across both. We are working right now on delivering the remaining Board Settings pages (they required some rework to make usable in Jira Service Management), with improvements that will be delivered into both products. Each settings page will be released as soon as it is available.

            In progress are:

            • Quick Filters
            • Swimlanes
            • Card Colors
            • General Settings (including setting the JQL filter)
            • Card Layout

            After Board Settings, we will be working on delivering multiple Boards per Project.
