    Description

      Hi All!

Thank you for the continued feedback on this ticket. My name is David Olive and I am a product manager working on Cloud Security features at Atlassian.

We are currently investigating how we can improve our JSM portal-only account security to potentially be on par with our managed account and external account security settings like with authentication policies and the external user security feature.

If you would like to help educate what we put on our roadmap in terms of JSM portal-only account security please reach out to dolive@atlassian.com!

      Topics to discuss include:

      • Auth policies for portal-only accounts (i.e password policy, MFA, session duration)

      All the best,
      -David

      Problem Definition

Currently, it's not possible to define the security level for portal only customers' password.

      Suggested Solution

Create a feature where you could configure the security requirements for the customer passwords.

      Why this is important

It would improve the security of the portal.

      Workaround

Configure SAML single sign-on for portal-only customers
