      Problem Definition

      • Currently when a Jira Service Desk(JSD) customer signs up for a customer account, the invitation email is translated(if configured to) into the desired language, but the page where the customer sets their password for the first time is in English

      Suggested Solution

      • Support translations for the customer account sign up flow

      Why this is important

      • Translations should complete across the whole user experience
      • JSD customer experience is disjointed
      • Could cause friction as customers may be unsure what is happening/what is required of them

      In this example, the default project language is set to Dutch

      Workaround

      • In the invitation email template: Project Settings > Customer notifications; Customer invited, add instructions on what will happen next when the customer clicks the link contained in the invitation email
      • Use the browser translation tools e.g. Chrome's "Translate this page"
