NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. Using JIRA Service Desk Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem Definition

Due to the recent change in JIRA Service Desk customer portal update, the header is now made pure white with the logo positioned to the top left of the header and the customer login and request details to the top right of the header. With this recent change, previous customer branding is now affected as additional customization has to be done to reflect the logo properly.

      Suggested Solution

Allow user to edit and colorize the header of the customer portal like before the customer portal update was applied.

      Sample Picture

Header is plain white following the background of the entire page instead of being a section of update of it's own.

      Why this is important

With the ability customize the header, user has better control over the look and feel of the support center. User is also able to promote their branding style and recognition to their customer.

      Documentation:
      New Help Center Update

All help centers and portals will switch to the new design on September 1, so make sure you customize yours before then.

Note that the topmost white header isn't customizable, so if you have a white logo you'll have to upload a darker one for it to be visible.
