Summary
Previously in JIRA Service Desk Cloud, users were able to set their own custom greeting in their user profile preferences. This functionality is described further in the resolved issue: JSD-2257.
With the most recent release of JSD to Cloud, that functionality no longer exists. Previously, when viewing user profile, users should be able to configure this setting under the Service Desk Preferences, however that option no longer exists.
Environment
This is observed in JIRA Service Desk v3.2.0-OD-15-001
Steps to Reproduce
- Login to JIRA Service Desk Cloud as an Agent
- Visit your user profile in JIRA
- Look for JIRA Service Desk Preferences
Expected Results
You should see a place to configure your message greetings
Actual Results
The option does not exist on the profile page.
Workaround
There is currently no workaround.
