Suggestion Summary
Currently in Service Desk, when an agent attempts to invite a user as a participant and the email does not exist yet, the user cannot be selected or invited.
How to Verify
- Go to Project > SD Project > Issue as an agent.
- Type in an email of a user that is not a customer in the request participant field.
Expected Result
JIRA should trigger an invite to the user to join Service Desk and also alert him he has been invited as a participant.
Actual Result
JIRA would let the agent know that the user does not exist hence he cannot be added to the field.
Work Aroundt
- Click on view customer request link on view issue screen in right-panel in Service Desk request section.
- Add request participant there by clicking on Share link.
