Issue Summary
When a KB article is shown in the portal, it is displayed in a fixed height iFrame. When the article is longer than this height, customers need to know to scroll within the iFrame to see the remainder of the article (vs scrolling on the page).
This makes usability and accessibility more difficult, especially on mobile.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a long KB article in portal
- Notice that there is a "double scroll" effect - one on the page, and one within the iFrame
Expected Results
For the iFrame to dynamically expand to the height of the embedded content, to make it easier to see the full article.
Actual Results
There is a "double-scrolling" effect which is difficult/uncomfortable to navigate
Workaround
There is no workaround for viewing the article within the portal.
- However, a potential workaround is to follow https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/how-jsm-customers-with-an-atlassian-account-can-view-confluence-pages-without-having-a-license/ to view the article in a Confluence page, rather than within Portal.
- Please note that this is workaround is only applicable for Customers that have access to Confluence via Internal Atlassian Accounts
