Problem Definition
Currently, when users enter a keyword in the portal's search bar, the system suggests up to 3 knowledge base articles. To view more articles, users must click on "Show Search Results." Customers have requested that the number of suggested articles in the dropdown be increased from 3 to approximately 15. This change would make it easier for users to find relevant knowledge articles without needing to perform an additional click, thereby improving the user experience and efficiency in locating information.
(Note: We have reviewed JAC issue JSDCLOUD-4263, which appears to address the ability to view more than 3 knowledge base articles after clicking "Show Search Results." However, the current request is to increase the number of articles shown directly in the dropdown suggestions before needing to click for additional results.)
Suggested Solution
Increase Suggested Knowledge Base Articles in Search Dropdown, or have admin/agent configure the number of suggested articles in the search dropdown.
Workaround
Click on "Show Search Results."
