Issue Summary
The new Send Customized Email action was rolled out recently however we have found that the rule doesn't send emails when Cloud URL for the instance was changed in the past.
Steps to Reproduce
This issue is impacting instances where Cloud URLs have been changed in the past. If your instance is one of them, here is one of the 2 behaviors that you can observe.
- You can add the action to the automation rule, but it won't send emails to the recipient when triggered.
- When you try to save the automation rule with this action, you will see an error for the Customize email address field mentioning.
The 'From' email address is not allowed. You can only use your Atlassian site domain (youroldsiteURL.atlassian.net) or a registered custom domain.

Expected Results
The action should function as expected, sending emails from the new site domain.
Actual Results
It fails with error pointing towards older site URL.
The 'From' email address is not allowed. You can only use your Atlassian site domain (youroldsiteURL.atlassian.net) or a registered custom domain.
Workaround
Currently, there is no workaround for this problem.
Customers can continue using the old Send Email action to send emails through automation.
