Issue Summary
Issues imported via External System Import using a .csv file, in a workflow that has an approval stage immediately after creation, get stuck in approval if created in a status after the approval.
If the workflow has a status between the creation and the approval step, the behavior doesn't happen. Only if the approval is immediately after creation.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a workflow with an approval stage in the first status after creation
- Import an issue via .csv in any status after the approval
Expected Results
The issue is imported in the target status and since the status doesn’t have an approval stage, no approval is required.
Actual Results
- The issue is on a status without approval stage, but it shows as if approval is required.
- The option to approve or decline doesn’t display in the issue view
- Trying to override the approval stage via automation doesn’t work as well
Workaround
- Transition issues back to the approval stage and transition the issue through the workflow.
