      Issue Summary

When a message with a large image file is added to a public comment, it's added to customer notification full-sized, making it difficult to be visualized.

Edit 2025/09/19: It can happen with small images as well, it is not restricted to large files

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a JSM ticket
      2. Make sure Reporter is playing a customer role in the ticket (if not, the user may receive an internal notification instead)
      3. Add a public comment with a large image file included (like +- 1MB)
      4. The notification will be sent with file full-sized

Image in comment/issue view (please see that it's added as thumbnail:

      Image in notification message (full-sized):

      Expected Results

Image should be resized for better visualization.

      Actual Results

In the comment, image is shown as thumbnail, what it makes it possible and easy to be seen; however, in email message this is shown full-sized, which makes it difficult to be visualized - this completely changes the intended content creation.

Considering that commenter won't have access to the email message that is sent, they might never be aware of that, thinking that recipient received the image as posted in the comment.

      Workaround

If you change the image size before posting it to the comment, in notification email message the size you set is kept.
