Responders and Stakeholders not updated when a Service is selected as the "Affected Service"

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

      • The customer has created a Service and added Responders and Stakeholders in it.
      • Now, when the end users are creating an incident and selecting the service as "Affected Service", the responders and stakeholders are not getting added automatically.
      • Creating a new service resolves the issue but the customer would like to fix the existing service.
      • The customer is not using automation rule to update the "Affected Services" but updating it manually during the issue creation.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Create an incident and select the service as the "Affected Service".
      • Ideally, this should add the responders and the stakeholders in the incident.
      • However, neither the responders nor the stakeholders are added in the incident.
      • Captured the HAR trace for the working and non-working service. (HAR logs attached)

      Expected Results

      • Responders and Stakeholders should be added automatically as defined during the service creation.

      Actual Results

      • Responders & Stakeholders are not added to the incident.

      Workaround

Creating a new service resolves the issue.
