            +1 for that.

We have customers with tens of thousands of contacts, they are managing in assets, and they need to invite them in batches to the customer portals. Doing that manually is a pain. But having no notification and also not being able to use other email address than automation@your-base-url.atlassian.net within automations is pain as well.

            Please, make this happen!

            I don't understand how this is a feature request. It's a bug.

How is this an open issue? It is OBVIOUS that if a customer is added via automation, they need to be invited following the same process as manually adding them (i.e. sending an email invite), especially when the Customers list says "Invited" and offers "Resend invite".

This is not a Suggestion, this is a bug!

The comments in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-6306 perfectly reflect why.

Having just launched a JSM Help Centre today with thousands of potential customers, we were really hoping to rely on automation to streamline the onboarding process of new customers. Disappointed to find out the night before that this feature is fundamentally broken and had to quickly implement a workaround.

As it stands, the automation rule action is fundamentally broken and needs to be fixed for the much larger customers (of which we are not the only ones) to reduce the impossible task of manually adding users to the site in their thousands. Hope that this is actioned soon.
